Man loses 245 pounds with the three P's

"I always tell people it's the three p's: persistence, passion and perseverance," Marlon Gibson said. Gibson had always been a heavy kid. His grandmother would take him to McDonald’s everyday and from then on Gibson’s eating habits grew worse and worse. At his heaviest he weighed 405 pounds at five feet and eleven inches. Being the class comedian, Gibson was never really teased or bullied which allowed him to stay relatively confident.  It wasn't until he saw his wife do an awesome job on the reality TV show “The Biggest Loser” that he got the ambition. Instead of turning to unhealthy diets and surgical procedures, Gibson just started to eat less and eventually cut out all the bad food he usually ate. Turning completely vegan, Gibson has successfully lost a total of 245 pounds and is at a healthy weight of 160. He is not only keeping his weight down but also keeping his healthy ritual of diet and exercise up.
